We are a local based non profit with the mission to cultivate creativity and innovation in youth through art education and exposure. We primarily focus on underserved and underprivileged youth, and work closely with local municipalities and youth-led organizations to ensure the quality, interest, and reach of our programs.

Art Camps & Classes
Our art camps & classes provide a supportive and inclusive environment for youth to explore painting, drawing, sculpting, dance, and much more! Through our programs, we aim to foster a love for the arts, but more importantly, plant and cultivate the seeds of creativity that will bloom within the youth as they grow.
Painting
Our young artists must learn decisions about color, composition, and technique. These creative processes encourage youth to approach challenges in various aspects of life with an open mind and in search of innovative solutions. Additionally, the patience and discipline developed through painting can enhance focus and perseverance.
Crafting
Crafting is a wonderful way for children to learn the importance of resourcefulness. As they create with limited materials, they develop problem-solving skills and a mindset that embraces creativity. By working with what they have, children discover innovative ways to achieve their goals, fostering resilience and adaptability. This hands-on experience not only enhances their creativity but also teaches them valuable life skills.
Sculpting
Learning sculpting can empower children to transform their imagination into tangible creations. By working with materials like clay, they discover the process of building something from nothing. Each session encourages them to experiment, make mistakes, and refine their ideas, teaching valuable lessons about perseverance and the joy of creation.
Dancing
Dance is a powerful tool for children, allowing them to express their emotions in healthy and creative ways. Through movement, kids can communicate feelings that may be difficult to articulate with words, fostering emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Engaging in dance encourages them to explore their creativity and build confidence, as well as connect with themselves and others, enhancing their overall communication skills.
Illustration
Teaching a child to refine their drawing requires a great deal of patience. They learn that mastery takes time and effort. This process not only enhances their artistic skills but also imparts valuable life lessons about perseverance and the importance of practice. In nurturing this patience, we help them appreciate the journey of creation as much as the final masterpiece.
Holiday Art Kits Program
Christmas Art Kits is the initiative that started it all back in 2015, igniting our passion for creativity and community engagement. What began as a small project has now blossomed a larger mission with the formation of our organization, allowing us to reach more people than ever before. We are excited to expand our efforts and share the joy of art during the holiday season on a much grander scale. Join us in celebrating creativity and making this Christmas special!
Our Christmas holiday art kit initiative is a full circle event that brings joy and creativity to underserved youth. By providing them with gifts and art kits filled with various mediums, we not only teach them how to express themselves artistically but also empower them to share their newfound skills. These young artists then have the opportunity to spread love and creativity by engaging with the elderly in assisted living facilities, creating meaningful connections and brightening their holiday season. Together, we nurture a spirit of giving that enriches both the givers and the receivers.
Learning
We create a fun and engaging learning experience for kids with our art kit! Through a hands-on approach, we introduce them to the various mediums, allowing them to explore and understand how each one works. We focus on creativity by guiding them to design their very own handmade Christmas cards. It's a delightful way for kids to express their artistic flair while spreading holiday cheer!
Receiving
First, we present art kits filled with a wonderful assortment of items from various art mediums—markers, paints, pencils, crayons, pastels, and high-quality paper. With the help of Santa, we gift these kits alongside Christmas presents, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to explore their artistic talents and express themselves through the magic of art.
Giving
The event comes full circle as we help children deliver their handmade Christmas cards to elderly residents in assisted living facilities. For many of these seniors, it’s often the only visitor they’ve had all year and the only gift they receive. This heartwarming exchange not only brightens their holiday but also instills a sense of pride and community in the children involved. It's a beautiful reminder of the joy of giving.
Fundraising Events
We actively engage in a variety of fundraisers and collaborate with different organizations to promote the arts. Through joint effort events, we raise funds that benefit and showcase our programs. Our commitment supporting the arts allows us to create meaningful experiences while making a positive impact in the community. How it Works:
Aim partners with talented artists to create stunning murals in local municipalities, enhancing community spaces and fostering pride. These projects are made through a combination of private funding and grants, and gives art that remains accessible to all. By utilizing the latest digital technology, we are able to conceptualize and visualize each mural, while collaborating closely with community leaders and local youth to truly capture the essence of the project. This collaborative approach not only brings vibrant art to the streets but also community bonds and encourages creative expression.
Once we have the design conceptualized, our master artisans work diligently to bring it to life. This process serves as invaluable real-world experience for emerging artists, engaging them not only in creative aspects but also in the business side of the industry. We have youth involved in every step of the project, teaching them not only the medium in use, but cost, supplies, margins, concept, and composition as well.
What Makes it Different:
At AIM, we are different from traditional mural artists, since our muralists donate a significant portion of their time to giving back to the arts and the community. This commitment allows us channel a portion of the funding we receive from the municipality into valuable initiatives, such as offering free art camps and classes designed for young participants who might not otherwise have access to such opportunities. Our approach is holistic, utilizing a variety of mediums that we cater to diverse interests and talents. From dance and drawing to sculpture and painting, we tailor our classes based on the preferences expressed by the local youth, fostering and self-expression in a supportive environment.
